The 2011 Phoenix Comicon was AWESOME!

Just wanted to drop in real quick to say thanks to EVERYONE for their support at the Phoenix Comicon! With the help of Jason Muzzin and the ridiculously hardworking Melissa Fischer, not to mention Matthew Capizzi, who was there all day Sunday, we did astoundingly well, selling zillions of prints, the PUNISHER, BOBA FETT and SHINING paintings, and every single sketch I did while I was there, including many, many requests and commissions! More conventions are now in the works! Thank you, everyone, a million times over!

I will be posting the photos I took of the one-of-a-kind sketches and commissions I did while I was there right here on this blog in the next few days! The blog post below this one are just a few of the ones I did on Friday that sold very quickly over the following two days. But look forward to more cool original sketchies!

Now I must buckle down and recover from the exhaustive awesomeness that was the 2011 Phoenix Comicon.

Comicon Sketches

Here are a few sketches I did while at my table today at the Phoenix Comicon. I sold more than a few, but here are some holdovers (they're expecting a crazy ton of people tomorrow).

Not sure why my favorite of the sketches - Spock, below - didn't sell just yet. Perhaps it's because I drew it later in the evening. Maybe tomorrow it will go quickly, as Leonard Nimoy is attending! I'm assuming he has a sense of humor about himself. After all, he did direct Three Men and a Baby.

I must add that it is extremely difficult to capture David Tennant's likeness. I think I sort of mostly got it here, but he's a weird looking dude whose features only look proper when in the correct combination. He was such a good Doctor, don't yous guys think?
