INCEPTION is FREAKIN' AWESOME
I just saw Christopher Nolan's Inception, and it is one of the best, most original, most exciting, and most thought-provoking movie I've seen in a long, long time. Perhaps the best movie I've ever seen, but, then again, I like the mind-bendy-dream kinda stuff. Regardless - go see it. Preferably at an IMAX theater. It's not in 3D or anything silly like that, but it does scream to be big because it is big. And spectacular. I'll be seeing it a few more times in the theater, I think. And I hate going to theaters these days, but that's how damn good it is. And I think multiple viewings will be rewarding.
Go see it.
Completely unrelated: no work doodle today. I was pretty busy at work doing work, actually, but here's something I doodled at home.

"Perception Police" And More!
The Kamikaze Snowmen present a brand new crime drama coming soon to a cubicle near you - Perception Police! It's cold! It's hard! It's fast! It's... er... not cash, but it's awesome!
As an added bonus, I've also added last week's Snowcast - an oldie commercial but a goodie commercial from 2000/2001 - "The Museum of Natural History at Discount Prices".
Enjoy the awesome advertisement awareness!

She Weeps
Some Catholic iconography for you. Enjoy.
Saw From Paris With Love with John Travolta, and it's totally a great, fun time! Who knew? Travolta is nonstop awesome and hysterically funny in the flick. What looked like a by-the-numbers cheap action movie turned out much, much better than I expected.
I also finally got around to seeing Observe and Report, and I can see why people don't like it. I loved every second of it, though. It really is some kind of masterpiece. Seriously, it really it is. Seth Rogen gives the performance of his career here (so far, of course), and if you look beyond the thing being a standard comedy as it was marketed, then I think you'll find something extremely interesting and superbly crafted. A dark, funny, sad little masterpiece about people that you've probably run into dozens of times before. The people who work at the shopping mall. You know the ones.
Anywho. That's about it for now.

Brain Poop's 400th Anniversary!
Okay, okay, I couldn't stay away from my stupid blog - if for no other reason than the fact that this is the 400th post here on Brain Poop! Go ahead and count'em! I know you won't!
Anywho - another crappy-ish 10-minute sketch up top there to celebrate 400 posts of mostly crappy-ish sketches (I'll admit, there are a few winners here and there, though), excellent music by my band The Kamikaze Snowmen, and curiously inept musings about movies good, bad, and weird.
I'm still experiencing the Colossal Work Week From Hell, so a 10-minute sketch is all I can muster right now.
400 posts, though.
Neat-o.

ROWSDOWER!
Zap Rowsdower. That's right. You don't mess with Zap Rowsdower. For the uninitiated, he shows up in all his hockey-hair glory in Mystery Science Theater 3000's version of The Final Sacrifice.
Now let's just imagine Rowsdower and Joe Don Baker's Mitchell in a fist-fight. I'm honestly not sure who would win. They'd probably call it quits half-way through and start chugging beers. And I'm not sure who would win the chugging beers contest, either, but my bets are on Rowsdower. Zap Rowsdower. Check it out.
This work-week has been hell for me, so the 10-minute quicky sketch of the all-powerful Rowsdower may be all you get for a while, folks. My apologies.
But still - you can bask in the glow of Rowsdower for a few days. It will change your life.
