Holy Cow, Where Have I Been?
I must apologize yet again for the lack of updates. Remember back when I could manage updating this thing every single day? Boy, those were days filled with beauty, joy, and, strangely, clean laundry. Perhaps someday I'll get back to that. Get back to clean laundry, I mean. Lately, though, I simply haven't been drawing much, with a few exceptions regarding the Super Secret Project(s) and stuff like that. Nothing I can show on ye olde blog just yet, anyway.
Hopefully the odd assortment of work doodles above will tide you over. That is, if you even care.
Enjoy!

Hatchet Girl
Whoa, she's totally gonna murder someone.
Again, I kinda suck at painting, but I thought this one-hour wonder came out pretty well. Acrylic on 8.5 x 11 cardboard. Actually, I think it's slightly taller, because it's the cardboard backing to one of the yellow scratch pads I use at work. Always save your scrap cardboard. Why throw it away when you can paint a murderous woman on it? That's my motto.
Now that I think of it, she's not murderous at all. Clearly she's defending herself. I'm thinking a zombie is probably just a mere five feet away and she's just given it her final warning.

Honk!
Above are just some strange random pieces again. Work doodles, the odd 10 minute pencil drawing, and a few others.
I recently purchased Warren's Creepy Archives Volume 1 which is published by Dark Horse. It's absolutely amazing and collects the first five magazines of Creepy. Frank Frazetta's last comic ever (before he went exclusively into painting) is in the first issue! Alex Toth does a bit, and Reed Crandall does a zillion! It's absolutely great! I actually prefer it to the Tales From the Crypt comics it ripped off. If you haven't seen any Creepy magazines from the 60s and 70s before or it's brother magazine Eerie, then I totally recommend them. I'm very happy with the Dark Horse collection and am going to slowly start purchasing the whole set! Yee!

Crazy Goggles And The Story Of Banjo
Man, I am so happy with how Banjo looks. Doesn't he look awesome? Majestic? Awe-inspiring? Ridiculous? I want to meet Banjo in person and compliment him.
Of course, he'd probably steal my pants.
It would be worth it.

Taking It Off
Some nakedness for your Monday!
And remember - it's just lines on a page, and not really a woman peeling her clothes off slowly just for you. So settle down, already. Sheesh.

Ah, Venice. Wait, What?
Lack of blog updates? I'm soaking in it!
Above are just some silly work doodles I did during the work week in the margins of my paperwork. I've been working on some much better looking stuff lately, but I'm just not posting it yet. Stay tuned, all. More updates soon, hopefully.

Bill Has Been Killed (By Himself)
David Carradine is dead? Really? He was so Zen, man. Why'd he do it?
Anyway, watch the following youtube video, and perhaps some of the pain from losing the star of Death Race 2000 (the ORIGINAL, not that new, muddy-looking thing with Jason Statham) will dissipate.
Oh, yeah, the clip isn't really safe for work, so be careful. In fact, if you don't like completely inappropriate humor, people getting hurt skateboarding, and Poppa Preaching, then don't bother watching the link below.
My God, I laughed until I cried watching that thing. Give it a minute or two, and you'll be rolling.

Today Is A Job For Work Doodles, Won't You?
I've been drawing nothing but a bunch of crap lately, so above are some simple Work Doodles. My apologies.
I finally saw Star Trek(2009), and I must say I liked it very much. It's the best Star Wars movie every made by Star Trek people. What I mean is: it's space opera and not science fiction, but that's fine by me. I was just looking for a good time. Lots of explosions, time-travel, blackhole shenanigans, and other ridiculous science that really doesn't work if you think too much about it. But it's eye candy and a hoot.
I also saw Role Models finally, and it really agreed with me. Sadly, I think I am the Paul Rudd character in that movie.
Oh, and check it out - I finally downloaded Firefox and crapped out on Safari, so I can finally italicize movie titles properly! Good bye, crappy-ass Safari, long live Firefox!
